Fall Photos!

Per usual, I procrastinated with Mallory's 9 year portraits but I'm so glad I did because I took a chance on the park across the street and now I'm in love with it. We still have a window of time for fall colors so if you're looking for that Christmas card photo, or just want some super cool family photos, get in touch with me via email at [email protected].  I can still get a few sessions in! If you agree to this location, I can make the following offers:

$90

30 minutes of shooting

Up to 15 high resolution files with full printing rights

Online gallery that never expires

Blog feature

$150

This is Pearson Park in Oregon, Ohio, north of Starr Avenue off Lallendorf. Absolutely beautiful, especially up on the observation deck. Perfection!

Everglow

Lydia turned 11 in June and I never got around to taking her annual photos. Remembering we had tickets to Coldplay in August, we decided to wait and snap them in Cleveland when we were there for the show. I usually take my time with these, pick out a nice outfit, shoot at least 500 frames. But I was so caught up in the experience of being there with her, just the two of us, that I said screw it and just shot a few photos to remember the day and remember exactly how she was in her eleventh year. She's an incredible person all full of talent and potential and I'm so lucky to be her mom.

so if you love someone, you should let them know
oh the light that you left me will everglow...

Haylie - Class of 2018

It's that time of year again! New seniors are getting their photos taken to capture this last year of school. Haylie was a pleasure to work with. She had some great thoughts on what she wanted and was super easy going. One of the best things about Toledo is that you can have access to just about anything within a short distance. We were able to get urban, art, and nature all in about two hours! Haylie is one of three sisters graduating this school year so more to follow on this trio!

Haylie, I hope you like this preview. Stay tuned for the completion of your gallery!

Masters 2017

Sneak peak into Monday's practice round. A MUCH larger blog post will follow soon with a lot more narrative. For now, this guy got to fulfill a life-long dream. For a moment I wasn't sure if I was at Disney World with a nine-year-old boy, or Augusta with a 44-year-old man. I mean just look at the happiness emitting from his face. And poncho. And beers.

Just a little rain. Maybe some lightening. A gale force wind or two. Potentially a tornado. Or 20. But it was still all kinds of amazing and I can't wait to do it again.

Stay tuned for more!

I'm a little late. But I wanted snow. And this cool hat. But then the snow made her squint and my camera hated the cold. So whatever. Here's some Q&A:

-What is your favorite food?

Bread bowl with soup.

-Who is the president?

Donald Trump. Well right now it's Obama.

-What makes you happy?

You.

-What makes you mad?

I don't know.

-What's your one wish for the world?

You'll be the best person in the world.

-If you could change one thing about mom, what would it be?

I don't want to change you.
